Situated just off the Hume Freeway 17 kilometres north of city, Northern Quarries is in an ideal location to service the Melbourne metropolitan region.
Northern Quarries has been operational since 1992, and in that time it has grown to be a major supplier to a number of large organisations and small businesses alike.
Over the years Northern Quarries’ products have been supplied to major projects including concrete aggregates for the Melbourne Casino, Eureka Tower and the MCG, beaching material for the Yan Yean reservoir upgrade and road base for the Craigieburn Bypass.
The quarry produces Class 1, 2 and 3 crushed rock for roads construction as well as commercial grade crushed rock for roads and buildings sub-base with the option for classed materials to be wet mixed or cement treated available. Aggregates for concrete production and drainage purposes are also produced at Northern Quarries.
All materials produced at Northern Quarries are tested on site by our NATA registered laboratory, ensuring that all material is quality assured and in compliance with Australian Standards.
Material can be delivered from the quarry by dual axle trucks or if the conditions are suitable by truck and trailer. Material can also be collected from the quarry, with small tipper loads acceptable.
