Rock and Concrete Recycling
Loose Rock (Basalt)
Northern Quarries will accept delivery of the rock (basalt/blue stone) removed from your construction project at no charge.
Due to OHS obligations, loads will need to be delivered to the quarry in tip trucks or skips (light trailers are not accepted).
Loads of rock may be refused if they contain excess soil, clay or other contaminants such as steel, timber, concrete or plastic.
Broken Concrete
For a small fee, Northern Quarries will accept delivery of the broken concrete waste from your construction or demolition project for recycling into re-usable products.
Loads of concrete can only be accepted if they are free of other waste such as asbestos, plastic, timber, and structural steel (a reasonable amount of re-bar is acceptable).
Due to OHS obligations, loads will need to be delivered to the quarry in tip trucks or skips (light trailers are not accepted).
